Per La Grande Festa Di Inaugurazione Delle Nuove Ogr Di Torino

Venerdì 29 settembre, alle ore 12, presso le nuove OGR di Torino, in corso Castelfidardo 16/A (ingresso dal Corridoio Nord), i musicisti Giorgio Moroder e Samuel, e gli artisti William Kentridge, Patrick Tuttofuoco e Arturo Herrera presenteranno in anteprima alla stampa e agli addetti ai lavori i progetti appositamente creati per l’inaugurazione – il “Big Bang” – delle rinnovate Officine Grandi Riparazioni: l’ex “cattedrale” di architettura industriale dell’Ottocento recuperata dalla Fondazione CRT e pronta a diventare, dal prossimo 30 settembre, il nuovo hub delle arti, dell’innovazione e dell’enogastronomia nel cuore della città.

Ad aprire la conferenza stampa, in cui sarà illustrato il programma completo dell’evento inaugurale gratuito per tutti con 10 artisti internazionali, saranno Giovanni Quaglia (Presidente della Fondazione CRT e delle OGR) e Massimo Lapucci (Segretario Generale della Fondazione CRT e Direttore Generale delle OGR).

OGR IS BIG BANG
Il “Big Bang” è la grande festa di inaugurazione – gratuita per tutti e lunga due settimane, dal 30 settembre al 14 ottobre – delle nuove OGR di Torino, pronte ad accogliere nuovi protagonisti e pubblici diversi, con una serie di esclusive nazionali e progetti realizzati ad hoc per l’occasione da 10 artisti internazionali.
Giorgio Moroder, Elisa, Ghali, Omar Souleyman, Danny L Harle, The Chemical Brothers e il super gruppo Atomic Bomb! (per l’occasione con la partecipazione di Samuel) si alterneranno sul palco per i tre sabati consecutivi del 30 settembre, 7 e 14 ottobre. Oltre alla musica, anche l’arte contemporanea caratterizzerà il Big Bang, con tre progetti site-specific a firma di altrettanti protagonisti internazionali delle arti visive: William Kentridge, Patrick Tuttofuoco e Arturo Herrera.

THE PROJECTS SPECIFICALLY CONCEIVED
FOR THE GREAT INAUGURATION PARTY OF THE NEW OGR OF TURIN

Friday 29th September, at 12.00 PM, at the new OGR of Turin, in corso Castelfidardo 16/A (Corridoio Nord entrance), the musicians Giorgio Moroder and Samuel, and the artists William Kentridge, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Arturo Herrera are presenting to the press the projects specifically conceived for the “Big Bang”, the inauguration of the recently refurbished Officine Grandi Riparazioni. The former XIX century industrial architecture “cathedral” restored by Fondazione CRT that, starting from next 30th September, will become the new hub for arts, innovation and gourmet food right in the heart of Turin.

The press conference to illustrate the full programme of the admission-free inauguration events featuring 10 international artists will be opened by Giovanni Quaglia (Chairman of Fondazione CRT as well as of OGR) and Massimo Lapucci (General Secretary of Fondazione CRT and General Manager of OGR).

OGR IS BIG BANG
The “Big Bang” is the great inauguration party – free and open to anyone, lasting two weeks, from 30th September to 14th October – for the opening of the new OGR of Turin, which are ready to welcome new protagonists and various kinds of audience, with a number of Italy only shows and dedicated projects by 10 international artists.
Giorgio Moroder, Elisa, Ghali, Omar Souleyman, Danny L Harle, The Chemical Brothers and the super group Atomic Bomb! (for the occasion featuring Samuel) will appear in turns on the stage for three consecutive Saturdays: 30 th September, 7 th and 14th October. Alongside music, also contemporary art will feature at the Big Bang, with three site-specific projects by three international protagonists of visual arts: William Kentridge, Patrick Tuttofuoco and Arturo Herrera.
